Poker Card Ranking

Poker players hold five cards in hand and each combination is ranked in a set order such as flush, straight or two pairs. It is one of the most important thing that a Singapore Online Casino poker player has to know poker hand rankings. The player with highest-ranked poker hand tend to be the winner.

First of all, the unbeatable best hand is called ‘royal flush’, it is the best hand of straight flush. The five cards are the same suit and consists of Ace, king, queen, jack and ten. In Singapore Online Casino poker game, value of suits are equally the same. In other words, we ignore the ranking of suit in other card games. Therefore, when there are two players hold royal flush, the winnings will be divided by both of them. Further, ‘straight flush’ is similar to royal flush. The five cards are from the same suit but in numerical order. For example, 3-4-5-6-7 all of clubs.

On the other hand, in Singapore Online Casino, when four of the five cards are from the same rank and one side card, it is known as ‘four of a kind’ such as four 8s. If two players have four of a kind, the highest value tend to be the winner. ‘Full house’ is referred to three cards of the same rank plus a pair, like three 10s and two 6s. The strength of a full house is determined by the value of the three cards.

In Singapore Online Casino, the next ranking is the ‘flush’. It occurs when the five cards are from same suit in any order. The highest ranked card wins if two or more players get the flush. ‘Straight’ is five unsuited cards in sequence such as 8-9-10-J-Q. ‘Three of a kind’ means three cards out of five are same rank and another two cards are unrelated while ‘two pairs’ is two cards of same rank and another two cards of another rank. The strength is based on the value of the pairs. The next is ‘one pair’, followed by ‘high card’.
